The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) denounced the United States Court’s newly released ruling newly released ruling that permits for the seizure of frozen Iranian assets, expounding on the measure as a violation of the International Law.
This movement is consisted of 120 representative states.
In a statement released on Thursday 5/03/16 called the decision a violation of Washington’s international and treaty commitments regarding “the sovereign immunity of states.”

Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, denounced the seizure of the frozen assets as “highway robbery,” vowing that the Islamic Republic will obtain the sum anyway.
“It is a theft. Huge theft. It is highway robbery. And believe you me, we will get it back,” Zarif informed The New Yorker Magazine in an interview publicized on 3/25/16.
The chairman of Iran’s Parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, said on Tuesday 5/03/16 the fact that Iranian nationals will be able to file more than one hundred and twenty cases together with domestic courts against Washington compared to the ninty cases unresolved against Iran in United States courts.
