Federal authorities cautioned Friday that ISIS sympathizers “continue aspirational calls for attacks on holiday gatherings, including targeting churches.”
The bulletin was supplied by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security and supplied to law enforcement agencies and private security companies around the U.S..
There are no known distinct, credible threats, U.S. law enforcement officials claim. The bulletin was released out of an large quantity of warning given the public nature of the published threats and the holiday season.
The bulletin was delivered Friday to law enforcement after pro-ISIS websites had posted a publicly-available list of churches in the United States.
The bulletin also talks about the different signs of suspicious activity law enforcement should be alert of.
In past times, public threats by ISIS supporters have concentrated on military and law enforcement targets. The more current threats have broadened to include the type of attacks we witnessed in Berlin, Nice, France, and Columbus,
