Syrian Militants Supply Chemical Weapons To Al-Nusra Front In Aleppo

Numerous trucks, transporting improvised chemical weapons, have been transferred to the Aleppo province from Idlib, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted. The location to the north of the regional capital, Aleppo, is handled by al-Nusra Front.


The arms are said to contain “chlorine-based toxins,” the ministry detailed.


Al-Qaeda’s offshoot in Syria seems to be gathering its forces in the region. More than 100 al-Nusra fighters have showed up to the Kafr Hamrah village, positioned in the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo, from Turkey, the ministry stated, citing local people.

Earlier this year, militants taken out a chemical assault in Aleppo. The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) informed RIA Novosti that “Islamist militants acting under the protection of Turkey” were accountable for the attack.

Numerous radical groups, who have been combating in Syria to get rid of Bashar al-Assad, have been charged of utilizing chemical weapons in opposition to civilians.
